SunContract Cancelled Collateral Requirement in January’s Strategic Shift 

Starting this year, at SunContract, we are canceling the collateral requirement for customers transferring surpluses and joining the platform from January of this year. 

The cancellation of the collateral requirement was a strategic decision by SunContract that comes with a whole change in pricing policy. Each growth phase has its challenges and drivers, and the new pricing policy is more favorable to our growth strategy in Slovenia and especially other countries, starting with Croatia.  

In this case, the utility of SNC tokens for collateral storage will be reduced. But the SNC token is not only driven by collateral, which was established to support growth in the initial phase but rather by its utility, which is in turn driven by launching new services such as the Personal Power Plant and also by the geographical expansion of the P2P energy trading to Croatia and other countries.
